Chris will appear along with musicians Charity Rose Thielen, Matty Gervais, and Mikey Gervais, of the bands The Head and the Heart and Mikey & Matty, for three events in Seattle and Portland on October 28, November 1, and November 4. Chris will read from his new book, A Mind Full of Music: Essays on Imagination and Popular Song, the musicians will play, and all will talk about how songs operate upon our minds in intimate, strange, and powerful ways.
